Sebastian Riedmiller
I am a research fellow at the Max PIanck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn and PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Cologne. In spring 2024, I was visiting Stanford University by invitation of Eric Bettinger.
My research explores how targeted interventions can effectively change behavior in line with policy goals. Part of my work focuses on financial student aid, aiming to understand why students don’t claim their entitlements and how interventions can encourage take-up.
My advisors are Matthias Sutter and Bettina Rockenbach.
